Sean Fitzgerald

Sean is a life-long Rockaway resident, knows the peninsula and wants nothing more than to see it prosper. Sean graduated from Niagara University (Vincentian Tradition) in 1998 with a major in Marketing and a minor in Fine Arts. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Boston, where he began his career as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley. It was there that he deepened his expertise in economics and finance, developing the analytical skills and market insight that would later define his professional path. He eventually returned to New York City, where he took on a role as a trader on the New York Mercantile Exchange and with Carlin Financial, further sharpening his understanding of financial markets and high-stakes decision-making.

In 2004, Sean founded Coastal Real Estate, turning his passion for sales, negotiation, and client service into a thriving full-service real estate brokerage. Over the past two decades, Coastal Real Estate has successfully facilitated transactions across the New York metropolitan area, ranging from studio apartments in Manhattan to large 35-acre development sites in Suffolk County. Known for his hands-on approach, Sean has built a reputation not only for closing deals but also for becoming a trusted advisor who connects clients with a carefully vetted network of professionals — from electricians, painters, and contractors to attorneys and mortgage brokers — ensuring a seamless experience on both the buying and selling sides.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Sean remains deeply committed to his community and family. He has served on the boards of the Rockaway Park and Belle Harbor Homeowners’ Associations and currently sits on the St. Francis de Sales Parish Council. An active member of the Knights of Columbus (Rockaway Council), the FDNY Emerald Society, and the Holy Name Society, he continues to give back through service and leadership. Sean also stays closely involved in the community as a dedicated soccer and lacrosse coach, balancing a successful career with the values of family, faith, and community that have always guided him.

Ginny Roberts

Virginia Roberts

Ginny’s story is inseparable from Rockaway. She grew up in Belle Harbor, in the same house she lives in today — a home filled with the echoes of family, neighbors, and the rhythms of a community that has shaped her for as long as she can remember. Her family’s presence was woven into everyday life here: her father and brother ran the Walter J. Roberts Insurance Company for 35 years, and her mother welcomed generations of locals at the Little Art Shop on Beach 116th Street.

Those early years taught Ginny what it means to belong somewhere — to know the people around you, to show up for them, and to let them show up for you. That sense of connection followed her into adulthood.

After studying journalism at the University of Rhode Island, she stepped into the whirlwind of Madison Avenue. As a young Production Assistant, she discovered she had a gift: she could hold the chaos of a project in her hands and make it make sense. That talent carried her to DDB, where she spent 28 years as Production Manager of the Direct Mail Division, guiding teams, solving problems, and keeping everything moving forward with a steady, human touch.

When she began freelancing, helping startups find their footing, she realized something deeper — she loved being part of people’s beginnings. She loved the moment when someone took a leap, and she could help make it feel possible.

That instinct led her to real estate.

Ginny spent eight years in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, helping renters and buyers navigate some of the biggest decisions of their lives. She became known for her honesty, her calm, and her ability to truly listen. But eventually, the pull of home — real home — brought her back to Rockaway. She moved her license to Coastal Real Estate, returning not just to the neighborhood she loves, but to the people who shaped her.

Today, Ginny brings her lifelong local knowledge, her decades of project‑management experience, and her deep belief in community to every client she works with. She’s not just selling homes — she’s helping people find their place, the way she found hers. She remains active in the neighborhood and her church, grounded in the same values that have guided her from the beginning.
